Republican voters will get to select three of four possible names, and up to three of three possible alternates. There are subtle differences between parties. Divisions are grouped into 66 wards, each containing no fewer than 11 and no more than 51 divisions. The district lines are different for all of them. Unlike every other office you’ll vote for, the Democratic and Republican presidential nominees are not selected simply by looking at the top popular vote getter.
