This Moose Belongs to Me is a great book and I recommend it! We have enjoyed reading all of Oliver Jeffers books, alongside him, as part of homeschooling at the moment. It is mainly a picture book, it might be fine for a 5 year old. Jeffers composes his trademark painterly cartoon figures atop a variety of backgrounds, including Victorian linotypes and some Serbian landscape paintings (scrupulously sourced). My soon the 3yr.

Just LOVE them.

Although I enjoyed the story, this is not a book that the kids want me to read to them over and over again. This book was received so well by my 3 year old grandson, who actually laughed while listening to the story, that I bought another one for my other grandson.
